Hot Spring (Onsen)

Mizubasho Onsen

  • Relax to the majestic beauty of the North Japanese Alps.
  • With over 200 liters of pure mineral water gushing out from deep below the forest every minute, our hot spring, Mizubashou Onsen, is the largest hot spring in the Hakuba area. At the source, the 48℃ water is light greenish in color and contains many beneficial minerals. It is 100% Gensen-Kake-Nagashi, meaning 100% pure with no added tap water or additional heating. Bathing in this water is know to make your skin smooth and warm you to the core.
  • Although recently opened in 2012, our hot spring building is constructed using timbers taken from two traditional private houses built roughly 120 and 160 years ago. These timbers, reconstructed in a traditional manner, give our hot spring the feeling of a time past.

Ski Resorts in the Hakuba Valley

No matter what your level is, there is a variety of suitable terrain waiting for you at the ski resorts in the Hakuba Valley. Although our resort is located outside of downtown Hakuba, access to the area’s ski resorts couldn’t be easier!

Our resort is conveniently connected by public bus to Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal and the gondolas at the four ski resorts below. So, there is no need to worry about walking in ski boots to get to the slopes! Lift tickets for these resorts are available at our hotel at discounted rates.

Free Shuttle Bus Service

  • We provide free shuttle buses for arriving and departing guests to Hakuba Train Station and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal. Please let us know your schedule in advance if you desire a pickup or dropoff.
  • We also operate a free night shuttle bus to take you to recommended restaurants. This bus has a set course with set times.

Public Bus Service

  • Hakuba Valley public buses operate throught the winter, linking our hotel with the Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal as well as Tsugaike, Iwatake, Happo-one, and Goryu/47 ski resorts.
